Stunning house with separate annex, private pool & tennis court close to Obidos
The villa is located in the village of Usseira, 5 minutes drive from the medieval town of Obidos. There are at least 4 good restaurants within a 20 minute walk as well as all the restaurants and sights that Obidos has to offer. Other activities locally include the vineyard and beatiful gardens of Buddha Eden and waterparks in Peniche, Santarem and Nazare. Further afield, Lisbon, Fatima and Sintra are all perfect for day trips.

The main house has plenty of living space and 3 bedrooms. There is also a separate annex with living area and kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a loft space with extra beds. The house is perfect for a large family or 2/3 families to share.
The outside space is fabulous with a 16 metre private salt water swimming pool, a tennis court and loads of land with beautiful views on every side. There is a pool table in the main house, table tennis in the basement and also a fully equipped gym. There is also WiFi in both the main house and the annex. Both houses are fully equipped with all kitchen equipment. The dining table in the main house seats 12 and in the annex seats 6. The outside table seats 12 and there is a further table outside the annex with 8 chairs, we also have 12 sun beds. With kids in mind we have lots of toys and DVDs, 2 cots, a high chair and boosetr seat and stair gates to stop access to the roof terrace. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL IS NOT FENCED SO UNSUITABLE FOR NON SWMMERS.
The house is an easy 50 minutes drive from Lisbon airport and there are also regular buses from Lisbon to Obidos. The nearest beaches of Foz Arehlo, Bom Sucesso, Sao Martinho do Porto and Peniche are all between 15-30 minutes drive.

Local area
Obidos, a walled medieval city, is the second most visited place in Portugal after Lisbon. There is loads to do there anytime of year, restaurants, walk the walls and the castle. The town also holds various festivals during the year. Chocolate Festival in April and the Medieval Festival in the summer as well as a Christmas Festival.
There are lovely unspoilt beaches at Foz do Arehlo, Bom Sucesso, Sao Martinho do Porto and Baleal (Peniche) as well as a water park in Peniche which is popular in the summer.
There are several vineyards close to the house where wine tasting is offered. The statues and wine at Budda Eden, 10 minutes drive away, are also well worth a visit.
